SpaceX raises $75 billion in its IPO
business
SpaceX raised seventy-five billion dollars in its initial public offering Thursday evening, valuing the company at approximately one-point-seven-seven trillion dollars. According to Axios, this is the largest U-S IPO on record—though that distinction may not last long, with Anthropic and OpenAI expected to go public later this year. Elon Musk held all his shares in the offering, keeping his SpaceX stake worth over eight-hundred-sixty-six billion dollars. Combined with his Tesla holdings, Musk has crossed one trillion dollars on paper, making him the world's first trillionaire. Trading begins Friday on Nasdaq under ticker SPCX.
