Woodside Energy, Australia's largest oil and gas company, has scrapped its long-term clean energy and emissions targets. Per The Guardian, the company saw a twenty-seven percent increase in sales profit to one point six seven billion dollars over a six-month period. This windfall followed a surge in crude prices caused by supply disruptions linked to the conflict in Iran.
