NHS England to offer women ‘gamechanging’ free home testing kits for cervical cancer

The Guardian reports that NHS England will offer free home testing kits for cervical cancer to millions of women who have missed screening appointments. Only two-thirds of women attend in-person screenings when needed, leaving up to four million women not up to date. The NHS has set a target to eliminate cervical cancer by twenty forty.
