Dalglish and Carney win PFA Merit Awards

BBC Sport reports that Sir Kenny Dalglish and Karen Carney have been named the Professional Footballers' Association Merit Award winners for 2026. Dalglish is a Liverpool and Scotland legend, while Carney earned one hundred forty-four caps for England. The PFA Merit Award honors outstanding service to the game.
