According to Ben Hardill's guide on Ben's Place, Raspberry Pi boards—including the Pi Zero, Pi 4, and Pi 5—can be configured to act as USB Ethernet devices. This gadget mode feature, available since 2017, enables developers to experiment with network connectivity, system testing, and creative hardware applications.
