Abbott asks court to reject Minnesota bid to force extradition of ICE officer

The Texas Tribune reports that Governor Greg Abbott is asking a court to reject Minnesota's attempt to force the extradition of an ICE officer. Abbott says he doubts Christian Castro is a fugitive subject to extradition, and the state is still investigating. A hearing on whether to keep Castro in custody is scheduled for Tuesday.
