Show HN: StackScope – I crawled over 40k indie launches to see what they ship

dev_tools

StackScope is a new crawler that analyzes indie product launches from Product Hunt, Show HN, and PeerPush to map what technologies founders are actually choosing. According to creator Jonathan, the tool monitors hosting platforms, frameworks, analytics, and security choices across over 40,000 launches. Built on dot-net and Playwright, StackScope uses its own fingerprint detection rather than relying on existing tools, and respects robots dot-txt. The project itself remains hamstrung by Cloudflare's verified bot program—Jonathan notes that bot verification is still pending and currently blocks access to about 10 percent of surveyed sites.
