According to Gizmodo's io9, researchers have recorded the goblin shark alive in its natural habitat for the first time. The deep-sea creature, a so-called 'living fossil' unchanged for millions of years, was filmed nearly 6,500 feet below the ocean surface, offering scientists a rare glimpse of one of the ocean's most elusive predators.
