Argentina's manufacturing sector continues to struggle, with industrial activity falling zero point four percent in July, per the Buenos Aires Herald. The decline is particularly sharp in automotive production, which dropped six point eight percent, while exports to Brazil fell twelve percent. A report from the Argentine Center for Political Economy estimates that nearly one thousand seven hundred industrial companies have closed since President Javier Milei took office, resulting in thirty-nine thousand lost jobs.
