Sam Register to Depart as Head of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe (EXCLUSIVE)

Variety reports that Sam Register, the longtime head of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, is departing the company next week. Warner Bros. TV Group chair Channing Dungey announced in a memo that she and Register mutually agreed not to renew his contract, ending his long-running tenure as president. Register will exit his role as the contract expires.
