According to LessWrong, a new initiative called Frame Fellowship is addressing a critical gap in AI safety: the shortage of compelling communicators who can explain the stakes to mainstream audiences. Launched by Akshyae Singh and Austin Chen, the fellowship recruited 11 creators from 150+ applicants for its first cohort this year—including YouTubers, TikTokers, and journalists—and paired them with mentors like content creator Rob Miles. The program has already generated campaigns reaching millions of viewers. Frame is now accepting applications for its second cohort, looking for the next generation of storytellers who can translate AI safety research into narratives that resonate beyond the specialist bubble.
