Tributes pour in after country music legend Dolly Parton, 80, dies after ‘brief battle with cancer’

Dolly Parton has died at eighty after what's described as a brief battle with cancer, The Guardian reports. Tributes are pouring in from figures across music and beyond, including Reba McEntire, Lily Tomlin, Dionne Warwick, and Kacey Musgraves. In the UK, BBC Radio 2's Jo Whiley marked the news by playing three of Parton's best-known songs, I Will Always Love You, Jolene, and 9 to 5, during her evening show.
