Nepal-Tibet floods live: Over 160 dead; 1,400 missing; rescue continues

More than one hundred sixty people are dead and roughly one thousand four hundred remain missing after flash floods struck near Nepal's border with China, Al Jazeera reports. Rescue teams are still searching for survivors in the affected areas. The Nepal-Tibet border region is mountainous and prone to sudden flooding from glacial and monsoon-fed rivers, which can complicate rescue efforts.
