French PM looks to speed up cyclone reconstruction on Mayotte visit

France 24 reports that French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu is on a two-day visit to Mayotte, the French island territory in the Indian Ocean, with six ministers in tow. The trip is focused on speeding up reconstruction more than a year and a half after Cyclone Chido devastated the island. Lecornu says he shares the impatience of Mayotte's people and wants to provide solutions.
