Former Bosnian Serb general Ratko Mladic convicted of genocide dies, state media says

Ratko Mladic, the Bosnian Serb general convicted of genocide for his role in the 1992 to 1995 Bosnian war, has died at the United Nations detention centre in The Hague, France 24 reports. State media say he suffered several strokes. Mladic was found guilty over atrocities including the Srebrenica massacre, one of the defining crimes of the Balkan conflict.
