Fox Corporation is acquiring the streaming platform Roku for $22 billion, according to Variety. The deal, announced Monday, values Roku at 160 dollars per share in a combination of cash and Fox stock. The acquisition signals continued consolidation in streaming as traditional media companies maneuver for position against Netflix, Disney Plus, and each other. The deal is expected to close later this year pending regulatory approval.
