Only 7 Public B2B Companies Are Growing Over 30%. In the AI-Native Cohort, That Would Be Last Place

Only seven public B2B software companies are currently growing at a rate of thirty percent or higher, according to SaaStr. This marks a significant shift from twenty twenty-one, when half of the SaaS Capital Index cleared that same threshold. The report notes that most of these high-growth firms, including Snowflake and Datadog, utilize usage-based pricing models that allow them to capture AI-driven demand without new sales cycles. Meanwhile, a new generation of AI-native companies is seeing far more explosive growth, with some reporting increases of several hundred percent.
