21 zero-day issues were found in FFmpeg

FFmpeg, the ubiquitous open-source multimedia library used for video processing worldwide, contains 21 previously unknown security vulnerabilities. According to Adafruit Blog, an autonomous security agent from depthfirst discovered the flaws through intensive analysis conducted with Google and Anthropic. Some vulnerabilities had remained hidden for 15 to 20 years. The research team produced concrete, reproducible proof-of-concept inputs confirming their exploitability.
