Making an autonomous boat to cross the Atlantic

According to Adafruit, a maker community member is building an autonomous motorboat to test navigation systems for a bigger goal: competing in the MicroTransat Challenge, which since 2008 has pushed builders to create fully autonomous sailboats under a specific size limit. It's a hardware engineering gauntlet that combines robotics, marine engineering, and AI.
