tech
Hardware enthusiast Christian Nöding made an unexpected discovery: the Behringer DDX3216 mixer contains a real Intel 386 processor—the same chip that powered personal computers in the 1980s. Seeing screenshots of the mixer's internals, Nöding immediately wondered if he could run DOS on it. According to Adafruit Blog, the finding reveals how modern consumer electronics sometimes hide surprisingly vintage processors inside, opening new doors for hardware hackers and DIY tinkerers.
