South African jazz legend Abdullah Ibrahim has died at the age of 91. According to The Guardian, the accomplished composer and pianist passed away peacefully in Germany following a brief illness. Over his prolific career, Ibrahim recorded more than 70 albums, establishing himself as a towering figure in jazz history and a cultural ambassador for South African music.
