OpenAI, Anthropic join global call to strengthen cyber defences

France 24 reports that more than one hundred organizations, including AI companies OpenAI and Anthropic, issued an open letter on Thursday urging governments and technology firms to strengthen cyber defenses against increasingly sophisticated AI-powered attacks. The letter warns that such attacks could become far more widespread in the coming months as AI models grow more capable.
