According to SpaceNews, Israeli satellite communications firm Gilat is acquiring most of Comtech's space-related business. It's a striking reversal from 2020, when Comtech's own takeover bid for Gilat collapsed. The deal expands Gilat's defense capabilities in satellite communications.
