science

A trillion is incomprehensibly large. According to Nautilus, the human mind genuinely struggles to grasp such enormous figures. Consider the time scale: a million seconds is roughly 11 days; a billion seconds is nearly 32 years. But a trillion seconds? That's more than 31,000 years. For most of human history, we never needed to think in such scales. That gap between our intuition and reality is precisely why the sum remains so hard to comprehend.
