According to Variety, performance artist Marina Abramović will be honored at this year's amfAR Venezia gala in September. The benefit, held in Venice on the 6th, celebrates Abramović's groundbreaking conceptual art and her philanthropic work supporting people living with HIV/AIDS. It marks the sixth year of the annual event.
