Mass layoffs expected at Xbox, as prices go up

According to Boing Boing, Microsoft's gaming division faces significant challenges. New Xbox chief Asha Sharma recently acknowledged an internal memo detailing a projected five hundred million dollar revenue decline over five years, with profits falling short of targets. The division has also sold fewer consoles than Sony this generation. In response, Xbox is preparing for widespread layoffs while simultaneously raising game prices.
