An eighty-nine-year-old man has died in Seville after contracting West Nile virus, Euronews reports, marking the second death of the season. He had been hospitalized with meningoencephalitis, a brain inflammation caused by the virus, since Monday. Andalusia has now recorded fifty-four cases this season.
