Nepal and Tibet : around 93,000 people affected, according to the Red Cross

Flooding in Nepal and Tibet has affected roughly ninety-three thousand people, the Red Cross reports, with the death toll continuing to climb. France 24 says international aid is arriving from several countries, but rescue efforts have been slowed by the difficulty of coordinating in remote Himalayan terrain, and the disaster's epicenter wasn't reached until forty-eight hours after the floods began.
