Space Math at NASA: Math Problems Related to the Solar System II

NASA Science is highlighting a new problem set from its Space Math program. The set features forty-seven math problems for middle school students in grades six through eight, covering planetary alignments, cratering rates, and the physical sizes of objects. Educators can use it to give students practice with calculations using real space science data. It's part of a series of Space Math problem sets NASA has released for different grade levels and topics.
