Content Partners, which acquires ownership stakes and profit participation rights from filmmakers and production companies, has secured fresh investment from Carlyle Global Credit. Carlyle, already the majority owner of the Los Angeles-based firm, is expanding its commitment to a business model that provides immediate capital to creators in exchange for sharing future revenues. According to Variety, the deal allows Content Partners to continue acquiring these back-end rights at scale.
