South Africa's Western Cape is still counting the cost of last month's catastrophic storms. According to France 24, the floods killed eleven people and destroyed tens of thousands of homes. The blow has been sharpest for agricultural workers whose employer-provided housing was obliterated, leaving many still displaced. Aid organizations are working to support survivors, but recovery remains slow.
