Director Greta Gerwig's adaptation of C.S. Lewis's 'Narnia: The Magician's Nephew' will get a significant theatrical release. Sony Pictures will distribute the film internationally in IMAX and regular theaters beginning February 12, 2027, with exclusive IMAX sneak previews starting earlier that month. The film will then arrive on Netflix on April 2, 2027. According to Variety, the strategy combines theatrical spectacle with streaming reach.
