According to Variety, Moroccan director Yassine El Idrissi's drama 'Halima' has premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival, competing in the main competition for the Golden Goblet Awards. The selection marks a significant return for Morocco — the last Moroccan film to compete at SIFF's premier level was 27 years ago.
