According to Variety, GKIDS has acquired North American theatrical rights to the anime drama 'Cocoon – One Summer of Girlhood,' a wartime coming-of-age story based on Kyo Machiko's manga. The film arrives September 4th in both Japanese and English-dubbed versions.
