tech
According to Adafruit, the YouTube channel Berm Peak borrowed what's widely considered the world's worst e-bike—the Reevo—with a deal: they'd return it in better condition. What happened next was a complete hardware overhaul. They jailbroke the bike's computer, designed and three-D printed replacement parts, and engineered fixes the manufacturer never implemented. The whole project is open-sourced under the MIT license, turning a product disaster into a blueprint for creative repair and innovation.
