Ryabitsev: Creepy crawlies

The Linux kernel repositories at git dot kernel dot org are seeing a massive influx of automated traffic, per LWN dot net. Konstantin Ryabitsev reports that the site receives about six million daily requests for random commits, with an estimated ninety-eight percent of that traffic coming from scrapers. While sixty-six percent of these requests are blocked by the Anubis challenge, thirty-three percent are successfully solving the math to gain access to the site.
