Porsche is bringing its 2027 Taycan into the age of industry standardization. According to Ars Technica, the car will feature native NACS charging ports—that's the connector standard most automakers are adopting after Tesla's long dominance. The bigger battery pack is now standard equipment, and Porsche is adding simulated 'E-Shifts,' a feature that lets drivers feel traditional gear changes on their all-electric drivetrain.
