According to The Hollywood Reporter, industry veterans have founded aTwist, a company creating short-form series called microdramas. They've partnered with National CineMedia to premiere these shows in movie theater pre-shows, using the slot to both promote their content and advertise products. It's a novel take on cinema advertising.
