Pebble smartwatches may have been discontinued, but the community refuses to let the beloved operating system fade away. Developer Frederick Blais has ported PebbleOS to Raspberry Pi's latest RP2350 microcontroller in two implementations: the Adafruit Fruit Jam with a Sharp Memory LCD display and Bluetooth, and the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W. According to Adafruit Blog, these ports enable makers to build functional smartwatch-like devices on modern, accessible hardware. A small but heartfelt victory for dedicated Pebble enthusiasts.
