Walter Parazaider, Chicago Co-Founder, Flutist and Sax Player, Dies at 81

Walter Parazaider, co-founder of Chicago and the band's reed section player for 50 years, has died at 81. According to Variety, Parazaider had been battling Alzheimer's disease for six years. The saxophonist and flutist helped launch one of rock's most enduring ensembles in 1967 and remained with the group through his retirement in 2017.
