Walter Parazaider, saxophonist and co-founder of the rock band Chicago, has died at age 81. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Parazaider was central to the band's signature sound, blending horns with rock in a way that defined their hits across five decades. The surviving members released a statement crediting his vision as essential to the music itself: 'This amazing music may have never been heard had it not been for Walt's vision.'
