Paramount Animation and CBS are developing an animated Survivor film, reimagining the reality competition as a comedy with animal contestants instead of humans. The animals will compete on a remote, mystical island in a version that preserves the familiar competitive structure. According to Variety, original host Jeff Probst is executive producing, bringing decades of franchise experience to the adaptation.
