Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in Istanbul for the first meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee. As Dawn tells it, the gathering involves Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, a pact signed on August seventh that treats an attack on one member as an attack on all three.
