Quantum Space has secured a Pentagon contract to develop an orbital refueling spacecraft, according to SpaceNews. The company plans to deliver the fuel-transfer vehicle to the U.S. Space Force by 2028. This capability would enable longer-duration military and commercial space operations while reducing the need to launch fully-fueled satellites from Earth.
