Waymo is recalling roughly 4,000 robotaxis after discovering they've driven into closed highway construction zones at least 13 times. The recall highlights a gap in the autonomous vehicle system's ability to recognize construction closures and navigate around them. According to TechCrunch, the company is addressing the issue through a software update.
