SLS picks up the pace, four vehicles in production

science

NASA is accelerating its production of the Space Launch System, with hardware for four separate vehicles now in simultaneous development. NASASpaceflight reports that while teams prepare for the Artemis Three mission, work is already advancing on tanks and engine sections for Artemis Four, Five, and Six. This overlapping production line follows pressure from NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman to increase the agency's launch cadence. Artemis Three, which will test lunar modules in Earth orbit, is currently scheduled to launch no earlier than June twenty twenty-seven.
