At least fifteen people may be missing or unaccounted for after a flash flood swept through Arizona's Grand Canyon national park on Saturday afternoon, according to the National Park Service, The Guardian reports. The flooding hit the area around Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch, where park staff and Arizona's department of public safety evacuated more than sixty people by Sunday morning. The Grand Canyon, one of the most visited national parks in the United States, draws large numbers of hikers each year into its remote canyon trails.
