Major errors found in Al Gore-founded Climate TRACE database
science
Researchers at Northern Arizona University have identified significant errors in Climate TRACE, a widely-used global emissions database co-founded by Al Gore. The study found the database dramatically undercounts carbon dioxide emissions from vehicles in U.S. cities—by an average of 70% across 260 cities, with some locations showing gaps exceeding 90%. The findings raise serious questions about data accuracy in climate accounting systems.
