CDC to tap $107m in emergency funding for Ebola response in DRC and Uganda

The CDC is mobilizing one hundred seven million dollars in emergency funding for Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, according to The Guardian. The outbreak, now the third largest on record, has infected more than one thousand people. Though health officials maintain that the risk of global spread remains low, the substantial response reflects the severity of the situation.
