Introducing Adaptive Intelligence: undermining the economics of every bot attack

Cloudflare Blog says it is unveiling Adaptive Intelligence, a bot detection engine that makes automated attacks slower and financially unattractive. Unlike traditional rule‑based defenses that sit still between updates, the system continuously retrains on live traffic and deploys disposable rules that vanish before attackers can learn them. By weighing a multitude of signals at once and incorporating customer feedback, it seeks to flip the economics of abuse back toward defenders. The first component – continuous model retraining – launches today, with the disposable‑rule and traffic‑learning modules slated for release in the next few weeks.
